S. Shannon Liang, Esq.

Shanshan “Shannon” Liang was born in China and attended Tongji University for her B.Eng, degree, and Fudan University for her minor degree in law. After graduation, she came to the U.S. to pursue her Ph. D in Materials Science and Engineering at The State University of New York at Stony Brook. As a research assistant in her program, she published many scientific articles in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.

In 2009, Shanshan moved to Tallahassee, Florida with her family. She attended The Florida State University College of Law to pursue her J.D. which she attained with high honor, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Taking advantage of her vast knowledge of engineering and her diverse international background, she centered her practice on intellectual property and international trade law. Given her unique blend of engineering, language, and legal skills, she is a valuable asset to both the Mooney Law Firm and the clients we serve.
