Mediation

FLORIDA SUPREME COURT CERTIFIED CIVIL MEDIATION

Mediation is the process by which a neutral third party, the mediator, collaborates with all opposing parties in order to settle on a fair agreement in lieu of litigation.  A mediator does not impose solutions as a judge or arbitrator can.  Rather, they serve to assist the parties in finding their own settlement.

As a Customs lawyer and Florida Supreme Court Certified mediator, Neil Mooney knows the importance of reaching mutually agreeable settlements in a timely manner.  He applies his mediation training, knowledge of the law, and extensive experience in international trade, transportation, and civil litigation towards reaching a fair compromise in legal disputes to best assist clients with settlement negotiations.

To the best of his abilities, while remaining within the boundaries of the law and what is permitted of a mediator, Neil brings forty-two years of Customs brokerage and freight forwarding experience and fifteen years of legal experience to the table.  As a result, Neil is in a unique position to offer vital insight in trade and transportation disputes.

If you have an international trade or transportation claim that you would like mediated by a seasoned trade and transportation professional, please do not hesitate to contact us toll-free at (800) 583-0250 to set up a consultation.  Services are provided nationwide at reasonable costs. If requested, long-distance mediation without travel is also possible.
