International Trade law is a term for the collection of legal rules, including treaties and legislations, that regulate relations in international trade. This branch of law is now an independent field of study as most governments have become part of the World Trade Organization. International trade law is a complex and ever-expanding area; it includes the appropriate rules and practices for handling trade between countries.<\/p>

There are generally four levels of international trade relationships: unilateral measures (such as U.S. Section 301 tariffs), bilateral relationships (Singapore-United States Free Trade Agreement), plurilateral agreements (such as DR-CAFTA, USMCA) \u00a0and multilateral arrangements (GATT\/WTO).<\/p>
